My design included three tiles each of four different surface textures that, when struck with a soft mallet or similar object, create different soothing sounds. This piece is intended to be hung in a relaxing garden environment over a fountain, using the sound of the water as an accompaniment to its “music.” Each tile has a flowing curved shaped that mimics gentle waves of water. The glaze colors are calming blues and greens.
